On January 29, 2017, six men were murdered and 19 others seriously wounded during prayers at the Islamic Cultural Centre of Quebec City. This act of hate was a devastating reminder of the dangers of Islamophobia.

The green square symbolizes solidarity with the victims, their families, and all those impacted by hate and discrimination. On this National Day of Remembrance of the Quebec City Mosque Attack and Action Against Islamophobia, we recommit to building a more inclusive, safer society for all.

Let’s stand together against hate—today and every day.

🎄🎨 Had a wonderful time at the @bayview_village_association’s New Horizons event: Deck the Halls – Festive Urns and Table Ornaments!

We learned how to combine traditional greens with purchased, found, and foraged materials to craft beautiful Christmas urns and table centerpieces. It was a creative and festive way to kick off the holiday season with our community!

Thank you to @torontomastergardeners & everyone who joined and helped make the evening so special. Can’t wait to see everyone’s stunning creations displayed this season!
